Kernow Reuse Shops Divert 500 Tonnes From Waste
Almost 100,000 Items Saved From Cornwall Skips
Almost 100,000 items have been saved from going to waste since the first Kernow Reuse Shop opened in September 2024.
According to Cornwall Council, the shops have diverted around 500 tonnes of items that would otherwise have ended up in skips.
Kernow Reuse Shops take quality preloved goods and sell them on at affordable prices.

What You Can Find
The shops offer a range of household items, including homeware, electricals and furniture.
They are located at household waste and recycling centres in:

Booking Before You Visit
Visitors are reminded to book ahead before going to some of the busier sites.

The first Kernow Reuse Shop opened in September 2024 and, in the months since, tens of thousands of items have been given a second life rather than being thrown away.
