Grey Skies, Heavy Rain and Wind Ahead for South West
Residents across the South West are set for a mixed few days of weather, with grey skies, drizzle and heavy rain all in the forecast before the weekend.

Wednesday 25th February
It has been a grey start for many this morning, with low cloud, and some mist and fog patches around.
Conditions are expected to brighten in the east as the day goes on, although thicker cloud will continue to push in from the west. There could be spots of drizzle, particularly around hills.
Despite the cloud, it will feel mild, with maximum temperatures reaching 14°C.
Overnight into Thursday
Tonight will follow a similar pattern. It is expected to remain often cloudy and breezy, with spells of rain and drizzle. The most persistent rain is likely across higher ground.
It will be another mild night, with temperatures not expected to drop below 9°C.
Thursday 26th February
Thursday will begin mostly dry, although there may be some lingering drizzle around hills.
However, conditions are set to turn wet and windy as the day progresses, with some heavy rain possible. Temperatures will remain above average, with highs of around 12°C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday
Looking ahead to Friday 27th February through to Sunday 1st March, the unsettled conditions continue.
Further rain is expected at times on Friday. Saturday is forecast to be drier and perhaps brighter, before more rain arrives later in the day and continues into Sunday.
It is also expected to be often windy through this period, with temperatures returning to average levels for the time of year.
