Early Morning Drugs Warrants in Porthleven Lead to Charges

A 34-year-old man has been charged after police carried out three simultaneous warrants in Porthleven.

Officers from the Falmouth and Helston Neighbourhood Team, the Neighbourhood Support Team and the Force Support Group attended three properties on the morning of Wednesday 18th February.

Doors were cut to gain entry and officers located drugs and cash at the addresses.

A social housing provider was made aware of the warrants. As the warrants were successful, the cost of repairs will sit with the tenants.

Man Charged and Appears in Court

Dene Tregidgo, 34, of Trevisker Drive, Porthleven, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug, being concerned in the supply of cocaine and being concerned in the supply of cannabis.

Dene appeared at Truro Magistrates’ Court on 19th February, where he entered guilty pleas. He has been bailed ahead of sentencing, which is due to take place in March.

Woman Arrested and Bailed

A woman in her 40s, also from Porthleven, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and a money laundering offence. She has since been released on police bail.
