Businesses connected to Newquay’s night time economy are being invited to take part in an open discussion about the future of New Year’s Eve celebrations in the town.

Meeting planned for Tuesday 10th

Newquay BID has announced a meeting aimed at bringing together pubs, bars, clubs, restaurants and other businesses interested in helping shape how New Year’s Eve could be celebrated in the town again.

The discussion will take place on Tuesday 10th at 14:00pm at Cspace Newquay.

According to Newquay BID, the session is intended as an open conversation where businesses can share ideas about how to revive the atmosphere that many associate with New Year’s Eve in Newquay.

Ideas welcome from across the night time economy

Those attending will be encouraged to put forward suggestions that could help create an exciting night for the town. Possible ideas mentioned include live music, themed events and collaborative promotions, although organisers say all ideas are welcome.

The meeting is open to any businesses involved in the night time economy, as well as those who would like to help shape the future of New Year’s Eve celebrations in Newquay.
