Grey Skies First Then A Change: What’s Coming This Week
South West England is set for a mostly cloudy start to the week, with more changeable weather expected from the middle of the week onwards.

Monday 9th March
The week begins with a cloudy and grey start across the region, with some showery outbreaks of rain during the morning.
Conditions are expected to brighten during the afternoon as skies gradually clear, allowing some hazy sunshine to develop. These brighter spells are most likely across eastern counties.
Temperatures will remain close to the seasonal average, with a maximum of around 12°C.
Monday Night
Cloud is expected to remain widespread overnight, although there may be occasional breaks.
Some showery outbreaks of rain are possible in parts of Devon and Cornwall. Overnight temperatures are forecast to fall to a minimum of 4°C.
Tuesday 10th March
Tuesday is expected to begin with another cloudy spell for many areas, with patchy drizzle mainly affecting eastern parts.
However, the cloud is forecast to lift and break up as the day goes on, bringing sunny spells to parts of the region. Later in the day, conditions are expected to turn wet and windy.
Maximum temperatures will again reach around 12°C.

Outlook From Wednesday 11th March to Friday 13th March
From Wednesday onwards the weather is forecast to become increasingly changeable.
The region is likely to see a mix of showers or longer spells of rain, along with some sunny intervals. Temperatures are expected to stay near normal through much of the period but are forecast to turn colder by Friday.
Winds may also become strong at times as the unsettled conditions develop.
