People across the South West are set for a mixed few days of weather, with rain and strong winds expected to move in later today before brighter spells return midweek.
The latest forecast covering Tuesday 10th March to Saturday 14th March points to unsettled conditions at times, with periods of rain, showers and changing temperatures across the region.

A Grey Start With Rain Developing
Tuesday 10th March is expected to begin with a rather grey start for many areas. Patchy rain or drizzle is likely, particularly across the moors, although some early brightness may appear in eastern parts.
During the afternoon a few breaks in the cloud could develop, but further outbreaks of rain are likely in the west. Winds are also forecast to strengthen later in the day.
Temperatures are expected to reach a maximum of 12°C.
Heavy Rain Moving Through Tonight
Conditions are expected to deteriorate during Tuesday evening as a band of heavy rain and strong winds moves eastwards.
The rain should clear during the early hours of Wednesday morning, allowing some clearer spells and a few showers to follow overnight.
Temperatures overnight are forecast to fall to around 8°C.
Brighter Weather Midweek
Wednesday 11th March is expected to bring brighter conditions, with a mixture of cloud and sunny spells.
A few showers remain possible, particularly across Cornwall and north Devon, but winds are expected to ease.
Temperatures will remain close to normal for the time of year, with highs of around 12°C.

Unsettled End to the Week
Looking ahead, the forecast suggests unsettled and windy weather returning on Thursday 12th March, with a band of heavy rain expected later in the day.
Friday 13th March is expected to turn colder with some blustery showers, before conditions improve slightly on Saturday 14th March, which is forecast to be drier and less cold.
