Anthropy Gathering Returns to Eden Project from 25th–27th March

The Eden Project is preparing to host a major national gathering later this month as Anthropy returns to Cornwall for its fourth year.

Taking place from 25th–27th March 2026, the event will coincide with the Eden Project’s 25th anniversary celebrations, bringing together more than 2,000 leaders and changemakers from across the UK for three days of discussion, collaboration and debate.

Anthropy is described as the UK’s leading platform for shaping a better future, and the Eden Project is once again partnering with the event as a founding partner.

Three Days of Talks and Discussion

Over the course of the gathering, more than 600 speakers and contributors are expected to take part in over 200 sessions across 15 live stages. The programme will feature keynotes, workshops and panel discussions involving organisations from across the UK.

Speakers and participants set to attend include Baroness Sharon White DBE, Professor Juergen Maier CBE, Chair of Great British Energy, Catherine Johnstone CBE, CEO of the Royal Voluntary Service, and Dame Julia Cleverdon DCVO CBE, Chair of the National Lottery Community Fund.

Leaders from organisations such as John Lewis, Volvo, Mind and the National Theatre are also expected to take part.

Among the special guests confirmed is U2 guitarist and environmental advocate The Edge.

Eden Experts Join the Conversation

Experts from the Eden Project will also lead discussions during the event.

These include Sir Tim Smit, co-founder of the Eden Project, along with Andy Jasper, CEO of the Eden Project, and Sam Kendall, Head of Education. Their sessions will focus on topics such as place-based regeneration, community-powered change and nature-based learning.

Dan James, Development Director at Eden, will take part in a discussion about how early encounters with nature can influence lifelong environmental responsibility.

Meanwhile Peter Stewart LVO, Executive Director of the Eden Project, will appear in a session alongside Dame Julia Cleverdon DCVO CBE and Matt Hyde OBE exploring community connection through activities such as The Big Lunch.

Political Voices and National Debate

Senior political figures are also expected to contribute to the programme.

These include Blair McDougall, Minister for Small Business and Economic Transformation, Andrew Griffiths MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Business and Trade, and Danny Kruger MBE, a former political secretary to Boris Johnson and former Shadow Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Work and Pensions.

A cross party discussion will also take place during the event, moderated by political commentator and journalist Carole Walker.

A Platform for Collaboration

Alongside established leaders, Anthropy also aims to support emerging voices. The event offers bursary places and optional coaching for young people aged 18 to 30, as well as opportunities for activists, community builders and social entrepreneurs to share their experiences.

It feels especially fitting to return to the Eden Project during its 25th anniversary year – a place that embodies imagination, stewardship and long-term thinking – as we gather in the belief that we can be united not by identical opinions, but by a shared responsibility to shape a stronger, fairer, and more confident Britain for the generations that follow.”

Tickets for Anthropy start at £750 for two days or £1,000 for the full three day event, with all ticket holders receiving access to a digital archive of more than 200 recorded sessions.
