Hayle Food Bank to Benefit from First-Time London Marathon Run

A member of staff at a mobility solutions provider is preparing to take on one of the UK’s most famous races, all while raising money for a Cornish charity.

Claire Baker-Martin, Customer Service Administrator at Rehasense UK, is currently training for the 2026 London Marathon, which will take place on Sunday 26th April. This will be Claire’s first full marathon, and she plans to use the challenge to raise funds for Hayle Food Bank.

Claire said supporting local causes was an important motivation behind taking part.

“I think it is really important to support local charities as these can often be overlooked. Food banks are extremely important for supporting families and have become a vital part of local communities up and down the country in recent years,” commented Claire.

Backed by colleagues

Claire’s effort has also been recognised by colleagues at Rehasense UK.

UK Sales Manager Jordan Day said the company was proud to support Claire as she prepares for the race.

“Claire is raising money for a fantastic local charity and on behalf of everyone here at Rehasense UK I would like to wish Claire the very best of luck in London. Having run a marathon myself in 2023, I am fully aware of the hard work and dedication it takes,” commented Jordan.
