Tesco Camborne Shoppers Raise £1,767 for Penlee Lifeboat
Penlee RNLI volunteers have thanked shoppers and staff at Tesco Camborne after more than £1,700 was raised during in-store collections.
On Wednesday 11th March 2026, Penlee Lifeboat fundraising chairman Eric Taylor presented a ‘thank you’ certificate to Anita Colman. Anita is the Community Champion at Tesco Camborne and had allowed the Penlee RNLI to collect in-store during 2025.

During the year of collections at the store, a total of £1,767.02 was donated.
The Penlee RNLI expressed their gratitude to customers who contributed and to Tesco staff for their support.
According to the lifeboat station, the money raised will help RNLI Penlee volunteers continue their work saving lives at sea.
The presentation of the certificate recognised Anita’s support in allowing the fundraising collections to take place in the Camborne store.
