Road Closure in Camborne High Street Until 27th March

Businesses in Camborne town centre remain open despite a temporary road closure affecting part of the high street while improvement works take place.

An update shared by the Camborne Renew team explains that the closure is currently in place near the top end of town.

Road Closure in Place Until 27th March

The closure affects the stretch of road just up from the Adelaide Street junction to the top end of Trelowarren Street. According to the update, the closure began on 16th March and is expected to remain in place until 27th March.

During this period, new granite kerbs are being laid and the existing cobbles are being repointed.

Signage and diversions are in place while the works are carried out.

Visitors to the town are being asked to allow extra time for their journey while the closure remains in place.

Shops and Businesses Still Open

Despite the disruption, shops and businesses in the town centre are continuing to operate as normal.

Drivers visiting Camborne are reminded that free parking is available at Rosewarne Car Parks, with the first hour free between 9am and 4pm until May.

Motorists are asked to collect a ticket from the machine or use Just Park as normal, which will automatically calculate the free parking period. Normal charges apply after the first hour.
