Saltash Town Council has confirmed that the Longstone public toilets have been temporarily closed following an incident of vandalism.

The council said its Service Delivery team is currently working to repair the damage and carry out a full clean, with the aim of making the facilities safe and ready to reopen as soon as possible. The incident has also been reported to the police.

Repairs Underway After Damage

According to the council, the damage caused has meant the toilets cannot remain open to the public while work is carried out.

Saltash Town Council said:
“We’re sorry to share that the Longstone public toilets have been temporarily closed following an incident of vandalism. Our Service Delivery team is currently working hard to repair the damage and carry out a full clean to ensure the facilities are safe and ready to use again. The incident has been reported to the police.”
