Wind and Heavy Rain Set to Hit South West Today
The weather across the South West of England is set to turn more unsettled from Sunday 29th March through to Thursday 2nd April, with wind and rain expected to move in after a brighter start.
Sunday 29th March
There may be some brightness in places early in the day, but skies are expected to turn overcast through the morning. Spells of rain will develop during the afternoon, with the possibility of heavier bursts over the Moors.
It will also become increasingly windy as the day goes on, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 12°C.
Sunday Night
Rain is expected to clear into showers overnight, before turning mostly dry by morning. It will remain often windy, although winds should ease slightly as the night progresses.
Temperatures are set to stay largely frost-free, with a minimum of 4°C.

Monday 30th March
A few light showers are possible, but overall conditions are expected to be mostly dry. Winds will continue to ease, allowing for some sunny spells to develop.
Despite still feeling chilly, the lighter winds should make it feel more pleasant. Maximum temperatures are forecast to reach 13°C.
Outlook for Tuesday 31st March to Thursday 2nd April
Looking ahead, a few light showers remain possible, but much of the early part of the week is expected to stay mainly dry.
There will likely be periods of cloud, alongside some sunny spells. Temperatures are set to rise slightly, although it may remain breezy at times.
