Bright Start With a Chill in the Air

Monday 30th March brings a bright and breezy day for many, with plenty of sunny spells expected across the region. However, it will feel cooler than it looks, with a noticeable chill in the wind. There is also a chance of an odd passing shower towards the Isles of Scilly.

Temperatures are set to reach a maximum of 13°C.

Into the evening, conditions will stay dry but chilly. Overnight, cloud will begin to thicken from the west, bringing some patchy rain and drizzle in the early hours. Temperatures are expected to drop to around 4°C.

Milder Conditions After a Damp Start

Tuesday is forecast to begin on a dull and damp note. However, conditions should improve through the morning, with drier and brighter weather developing.

By the afternoon, a few sunny spells are expected, and it will feel warmer overall, with temperatures reaching up to 16°C.

Mixed Outlook Towards the End of the Week

Looking ahead, Wednesday is expected to be rather cloudy, with rain likely arriving by the evening.

Thursday will start with a frost, but conditions are then expected to turn fine and sunny through the day.

By Friday, any overnight rain should clear, giving way to sunny spells. However, it is expected to turn colder again heading into the end of the week.

Residents across Cornwall can expect a varied few days, with a mix of sunshine, rain and cooler temperatures as the week progresses.
