Cloudy Start with Drizzle
Wednesday will bring rather cloudy conditions across the region, with outbreaks of mostly light drizzle. This is expected to affect higher ground in the west in particular.
Some brighter spells are likely early in the day in the east, once low cloud begins to lift. Winds will remain light, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 14°C.
Rain Moves In Overnight
Cloud will thicken into the evening as a band of rain moves across the South West.
Conditions are then expected to turn drier overnight, with clear skies developing in places. This will allow temperatures to drop, with a touch of frost possible in rural areas. Overnight lows could fall to around 1°C.
Bright but Chilly Thursday
Thursday is set to start on a chilly note, but with brighter conditions developing, especially in the east where sunnier spells are expected.
Through the afternoon, sunshine may become more hazy, though it is forecast to stay fine and dry with light winds. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach around 13°C.
