03/04/2026 – Weather in Cornwall

Residents across the South West can expect a mixed few days of weather, with conditions set to turn wet and windy as Storm Dave arrives on Saturday.

Friday 3rd April

Today brings blustery and mostly cloudy conditions, with light rain and drizzle likely throughout the day. Low cloud and mist are expected, particularly across higher ground and coastal areas. Temperatures will be slightly above average, reaching a maximum of 15°C.

Into the evening, cloud will linger with the chance of light drizzle in places. Some clearer spells may develop from the north for a time, before more cloud moves in towards dawn. Overnight temperatures are set to drop to around 5°C.

Saturday 4th April

Saturday will begin on a cloudy note, with thicker cloud quickly moving in and bringing outbreaks of rain. Conditions will become increasingly windy as Storm Dave arrives, with a risk of coastal gales developing. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 14°C.

Outlook for Sunday 5th April to Tuesday 7th April

Easter Sunday is forecast to be bright but blustery, with scattered showers. Winds are expected to ease into Easter Monday, bringing drier, brighter, and warmer conditions.

By Tuesday, the weather is set to remain settled at first, before cloud increases later in the day, bringing rain.

People across the region may want to keep an eye on changing conditions, particularly heading into Saturday as winds strengthen along the coast.
