HM Coastguard Responds to Surf Injury at Trevone Bay
A multi-agency response was launched at Trevone Bay on Saturday 4th April after a casualty was injured in the surf and later suffered a medical episode.

Casualty Located Near Café
HM Coastguard Padstow was tasked to the incident at around 1200hrs. The team located the casualty near the café and began administering Casualty Care First Aid protocols.
They continued providing care until two local first responders arrived at the scene.
Ambulance Takes Over Care
A South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust ambulance then attended. Coastguard team members assisted with moving the casualty to the ambulance, where they were handed into the care of paramedics.
Lifeguards Also Attended
Padstow Lifeguards from Harlyn were also in attendance to support if further resources were needed.
Following the handover, HM Coastguard Padstow was stood down and returned to base.
