Dog Incidents in Saltash Spark Police Appeal

Police in Saltash are asking dog owners to take extra care following reports of damage to poultry in the Salt Mill area.

Reports Over Three Months

Saltash Police say they have been made aware of several incidents over a three month period involving a young, small black dog. The dog has reportedly been walking some distance away from its owner and entering surrounding residential gardens.

The incidents are said to have taken place consistently between 5pm and 6.30pm in the evening.

Advice for Dog Owners

Officers are urging members of the public to keep their dogs under close control while exercising in the Salt Mill area.

They have also confirmed that there is no indication of any threat to people using the area as a result of these reports.
