Food Traders Wanted: Could You Be Part of Awenek 2026?

Cornwall Heritage Trust is inviting food traders from across the county to apply for a spot at this year’s Awenek! The Great Cornish Heritage Festival, set to return this September.

The event will take place at Enys Gardens in St Gluvias, Penryn, bringing together local food, heritage and community for a full day of activity.

Opportunity for Cornish Food Traders

The Trust is calling on traders who specialise in local produce, Cornish classics, or traditional food with a twist to get involved. Applications are now open, and traders are also encouraged to share the opportunity with others who may be a good fit.

Event Details

Awenek! The Great Cornish Heritage Festival is scheduled for:

• Date: Saturday 12th September 2026
• Time: 10am to 5pm
• Location: Enys Gardens, St Gluvias, Penryn, TR10 9LB

Set-up times are available on Friday 11th September from 12pm to 4pm and on the morning of the event from 8am to 9am.

What Traders Need to Know

The participation fee for successful applicants is £150, payable upon acceptance by Monday 30th June 2026. The event is expected to attract around 1,000 visitors.

Applications must be submitted by Friday 17th April 2026, with decisions expected by Friday 1st May 2026.
