Weather Warning: Heavy Rain Before Sunny Turn This Weekend
A changeable few days of weather are expected across the South West this week, with rain, showers and brighter spells all in the mix before conditions improve towards the weekend.

Wednesday 15th April
It’s a grey start to Wednesday, with outbreaks of drizzle across the region. Conditions are set to turn wetter through the afternoon as spells of heavy rain move in, accompanied by blustery winds.
Brighter skies are expected to follow later in the day, although there will still be a few heavy showers around. Temperatures are forecast to reach a maximum of 17°C.
Overnight Conditions
Tonight will remain breezy, with a mix of clear spells and occasional showers, some of which could be heavy at times.
Despite the unsettled conditions, it will stay mild overnight with temperatures dropping to around 7°C.
Thursday 16th April
Thursday brings a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. Cloud cover is expected to increase through the afternoon, although any brighter spells will feel pleasant.
Temperatures will again peak at around 17°C.

Outlook for Friday 17th April to Sunday 19th April
Looking ahead, a spell of rain is expected to move through on Friday.
Saturday will see more scattered showers, but there are signs of improvement as the weekend progresses.
Sunday is most likely to turn dry, warm and sunny, offering a brighter end to the week across the South West.
