The Weekend Weather You’ve Been Waiting For Is Almost Here
After a wet and breezy start to Friday, the South West looks set to enjoy a largely fine and sunny weekend, with dry conditions expected to last well into next week.
Friday: Push Through the Rain
This morning brings a band of wet and rather breezy weather pushing eastwards across the region. By this afternoon, sunnier skies will arrive in the west as the breeze eases, though patchy lighter rain may linger a little longer in the east. Temperatures will reach a maximum of 15°C.
Overnight, any remaining rain will clear, leaving a dry night with clear spells. With the breeze dropping away, a few fog patches could form in places, but it will stay frost-free, with temperatures not falling below 6°C.
Saturday: The Pick of the Weekend
Saturday is shaping up to be a cracking day. Aside from the chance of an isolated light shower, it should be largely dry with plenty of sunny spells. There will be a gentle northwesterly breeze making it feel a touch fresher, but pleasant enough in the sunshine. Temperatures again reach 15°C.

Sunday to Tuesday: Decent, But Turning Cooler
Both Sunday and Monday look dry after a chilly start, with light winds and some sunshine on offer. Conditions will begin to change by Tuesday, when a cooler northeasterly wind is expected to bring more cloud and the odd shower.
So if you are planning to get outside this weekend, Saturday looks like your best bet.
