Tree Pits Nearing Completion
Cormac has shared an update on the Truro Town Deal works at Lemon Quay, with three of the five new tree planter pits now finished to the stage where trees can be installed.
The remaining two pits should be wrapped up within the next fortnight. Trees and tree grills are due to arrive in roughly the same timeframe, meaning the green additions to the square could be in place by mid May.
New Seating on the Way
New seating for Lemon Quay is also arriving soon. It will be installed once all the tree pits are complete, giving the area a fresh look just as the warmer months get going.
Ramp Area Progress
Work in the ramp area has moved on well. New steel edging has gone in, paving has been reinstated, and half of the required topsoil has been imported.

Footway and Cycle Shelter
The new footway to the Market Store area, which holds the weights and barriers used outside M&S, is due to be completed later next week. Sub-base tarmac works for the new cycle shelter will be carried out at the same time.
Cormac thanked the public for their patience during the works and said further updates will follow as more milestones are reached.
Full project details are available on the Truro Harbour Let’s Talk Cornwall page.
