Police release images of necklace found with woman’s body in Camborne

A piece of jewellery discovered alongside a woman’s body in Camborne woodland could be the breakthrough police need.

Devon and Cornwall Police have released images of a necklace found on a woman whose body was discovered in woods in the Killivose area of Camborne on Sunday morning, in the hope someone will recognise it and help identify her.

What we know so far

Officers were called to the scene at 7.45am on Sunday 3rd May after reports that a body had been found in woodland.

Since then, detectives have been working to establish both the woman’s identity and the circumstances surrounding her death.

The force has now released images of the front and back of a necklace found on the woman, asking the public to take a close look in case it strikes a chord.

Death treated as unexplained

Police say the death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
