Newquay Night Bus Returns This Month with One Big Change

Late-night travel in Newquay is about to get easier again, and this time the service stretches further than before.

The Newquay Night Bus is making its comeback on Saturday 23rd May, with the service now running an extended route that takes in Perranporth.

What’s running

Operating every Saturday night, the bus has become a familiar fixture for those heading home after evenings out in the town. The addition of Perranporth to the route means more people across this stretch of the north coast can use the service without sorting out other transport.

The route and fare

The service runs every Saturday with a £3 maximum fare, looping between Newquay and Fraddon and taking in Perranporth for the first time this year.

Why it matters

Newquay BID says the Night Bus has made a real difference in reducing late-night antisocial behaviour over the past few years. The service has strong backing from local businesses, the police, and other partners working through the Newquay Safe group.

The return for 2026 has been welcomed by those involved in keeping the town’s night-time economy running smoothly.
