A full-scale replica of the Nao Santa María, the ship that led Christopher Columbus’s 1492 voyage to the Americas, is docking at Charlestown Harbour for four days.

Visitors can walk the decks, head below to explore the hold, and learn what life was like on board one of history’s most famous vessels. The replica was built in Spain over fourteen months and launched in 2018, and has since sailed more than 5,000 nautical miles and welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors at ports across Europe and North America.

Charlestown is her first ever stop in the Cornish port and only the third English visit on her 2026 tour. Open to all ages, with organised group visits available for schools and associations.

Tickets are cheaper if booked in advance online at tickets.velacuadra.es.
