Police appeal after Penzance e-bike collision leaves man seriously hurt
A man in his 50s is in hospital after a late-night collision in Penzance, and officers want to hear from anyone who saw what happened.
Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle collision on St Clare Street, which involved an electrically assisted pedal cycle.

What happened
Officers were called to the scene at around 11.15pm on Friday 15th May. The local man sustained serious injuries in the collision and was taken to hospital.
St Clare Street was closed while officers carried out investigation work at the scene. The force has thanked the public for their patience during the closure.
Appeal for witnesses
Anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken with investigating officers is being asked to come forward. Drivers with dashcam footage, and anyone with CCTV that may have captured the incident, are also being asked to get in touch.
