Where Speed Cameras Will Be in Cornwall, 1st – 7th June 2026
Planning a drive across Cornwall this week? It might be worth knowing exactly where Devon and Cornwall Police’s speed detection officers are heading each day, and which parts of the county are getting the most attention.
The force’s Road Safety Team has published its weekly patrol schedule covering Monday 1st June through to Sunday 7th June. Officers are being deployed across Cornwall, Devon, parts of Dartmoor and Torbay, with Cornwall featuring on every single day of the week.

The full daily schedule
Monday 1st June: West, East and Mid Cornwall, Dartmoor, Plymouth, South and Mid Devon.
Tuesday 2nd June: Mid and East Cornwall, Plymouth, South Devon and Exeter.
Wednesday 3rd June: North and East Cornwall, Plymouth, West and North Devon.
Thursday 4th June: West and Mid Cornwall, Torbay, North and South Devon.
Friday 5th June: Torbay, North and South Devon.
Saturday 6th June: Mid, West and East Cornwall.
Sunday 7th June: Mid, West and East Cornwall.
Which parts of Cornwall are most in focus
Looking at the week as a whole, Mid Cornwall and East Cornwall are the most targeted areas. Both are listed on five days out of seven, appearing on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday for Mid Cornwall, and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday for East Cornwall.
West Cornwall is on the patrol list for four days, covering Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
North Cornwall gets the lightest coverage, with officers only listed there on Wednesday 3rd June.
The weekend belongs to Cornwall
Both Saturday and Sunday see officers focused entirely on Cornwall, with no Devon, Dartmoor or Torbay locations included. Mid, West and East Cornwall all feature across both weekend days.
Friday is the only day of the week without any Cornwall coverage at all. On the 5th of June, the Road Safety Team will be working across Torbay, North and South Devon instead.

Plymouth and Devon coverage
Outside Cornwall, Plymouth features on three days running from Monday to Wednesday. South Devon also appears across multiple days, while Dartmoor is listed only on Monday 1st June.
Exeter has a single appearance on Tuesday 2nd June, and Torbay is on the list for Thursday and Friday.
The message from police
The Road Safety Team is asking drivers across the region to “drive carefully and within the speed limits wherever you are driving.”
