The Nare’s Quarterdeck launches seasonal Supper Clubs on the Roseland

Published On: 5 June 2026Last Updated: 5 June 2026By

There is a fresh reason to point the car down towards the Roseland this summer, and it starts with five courses, a clifftop view and a fishmonger that has been crowned the best in the country.

The Quarterdeck Restaurant at The Nare hotel has launched a run of quarterly Supper Clubs, each one built around Cornwall’s coastline, the turn of a new season and local produce. The restaurant sits in the cliffs along Gerrans Bay on the Roseland, with a front-row seat over the water and coastal interiors to match. The Supper Clubs welcome non-residents alongside hotel guests, with menus put together to show off the seasonal pick of the Cornish ocean.

A seafood feast to mark the start of summer

The first Quarterdeck Supper Club lands on Wednesday 24th June and celebrates the arrival of summer through a seafood-focused five-course tasting menu.

On the menu are dishes including Cornish crab with cucumber and elderflower, a Falmouth Bay scallop with sweetcorn velouté and a chorizo crumb, and Cornish halibut with black garlic, broad beans, morels, St Austell Bay mussels and a herb velouté.

The fish comes from Wings of St Mawes, a multi-award-winning Cornish fishmonger that has been named the UK’s Top Fishmonger.

Wines chosen course by course

Diners can add an optional wine pairing, supplied in partnership with Old Chapel Cellars, an independent wine merchant based in Truro. The pairings have been picked by Louisa from Old Chapel Cellars, with each wine chosen to sit alongside its course.

The supper club costs from £50 per guest. The optional wine pairing is a further £20.

How to book

Arrival is from 6.30pm for a 7pm sit-down on the 24th. Spaces are limited.

To reserve, book via ResDiary by selecting 24th June and the 6.30pm sitting, or call 01872 500 000. Full details are on The Quarterdeck’s supper club page.

The June evening is the first of four planned across the year, one for each new season.
