Cornwall weather: warm and humid days ahead after Tuesday rain

It is set to feel warm across Cornwall today, with temperatures reaching 25°C, though the sunshine comes with a catch. Low cloud is creeping in around the coast, and there is rain on the way before the week settles down.

Monday

Low cloud will gradually spread around coastal areas of Devon and Cornwall through the day. Elsewhere starts bright, with skies turning increasingly cloudy as the hours pass. It will feel warm, with a maximum temperature of 25°C.

Monday night

Overnight stays mostly cloudy and murky, though some clear spells are possible at times. Mist and fog patches may form wherever those clearer gaps open up. The minimum temperature drops to 15°C.

Tuesday

A few bright spells get the day going, but cloud thickens again through the morning. Heavy outbreaks of rain then move in from the west. The maximum temperature reaches 23°C.

Wednesday to Friday

Things turn drier for the rest of the week, with some warm spells of sunshine. That sunshine will be hazy at times. And it will feel increasingly humid as the days go on.
