Cornwall Weather: A Warm Muggy Week Before the Weekend Changes

Step outside this morning and the air feels heavy. Cornwall is in for a warm and muggy run of days, with rain coming and going and a lot of cloud sticking around in the far west. Things do shift by the weekend, though.

Today

A misty and locally foggy morning, with outbreaks of rain that fall heaviest over the hills and moors. The rain eases this afternoon and some brighter skies should break through. It stays murky around the coast and over high ground. Despite all the cloud it will feel warm, with a maximum of around 21°C.

Tonight

Cloud hangs around overnight and patchy rain or drizzle returns, mainly in the west. It stays warm and humid, with murky conditions near the coast. The temperature drops no lower than about 15°C.

Thursday

Another grey start, with patchy drizzle towards the west. Skies brighten in the east as the day goes on. Being out west, many parts of Cornwall hold onto a lot of cloud. Warm and muggy again, with highs near 24°C.

The weekend

Friday brings bright weather in the east while it stays cloudier further west with patchy drizzle. Saturday turns fresher with bright spells and a few showers. Sunday sees more sunshine, and it feels hotter.
