Tuesday: bright start, wetter finish

Tuesday begins mostly dry with bright spells, and the east holds onto the best of it early on. West Cornwall sees patchy rain first, and as the day goes on locally heavy showers break out, working their way into eastern parts during the afternoon. It stays pleasantly warm despite the rain, with a maximum temperature of 21°C.

Tuesday night

Those early showers fade away through the evening to leave a largely dry night. There will be some clear intervals, but low cloud builds and mist and fog patches are likely to form. The minimum temperature drops to 14°C.

Wednesday

Early low cloud and mist soon lift to leave a fine day across the region. It stays dry, though fairly cloudy skies hang around, so any sunshine will be hazy rather than strong. The maximum temperature is again 21°C.

Thursday to Saturday

Overnight rain should gradually clear on Thursday to leave some sunshine for the afternoon. After that the picture stays largely dry and settled, and it starts to feel warmer again in the sunshine.
