Swamp Circus Is Bringing a Summer Camp to Chyan This August

Aerial hoops, juggling clubs and acrobatics are heading to Chyan for the last weekend of the summer holidays.

Swamp Circus Trust has put tickets on sale for its Summer Circus School and Camp 2026, running from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August 2026 at the Chyan Cultural Centre, TR10 9BT. The three-day camp is delivered in partnership with Circo Kernow.

What’s on the programme

Children and young people can expect professional circus tuition alongside creative activities across the three days. The skills on offer run from aerial arts and balancing to juggling, acrobatics and performance techniques.

The trust says the camp is built to inspire creativity, encourage teamwork and give young people an end to the summer holidays worth remembering.

Who can take part

Everyone is welcome, whether a child is stepping under the big top for the first time or already has experience. Participants will have the chance to build confidence and learn new skills in what the organisers describe as a supportive and inclusive environment.

How to book

The camp takes place at the Chyan Cultural Centre, TR10 9BT, from 28 to 30 August 2026. Tickets are available through the Swamp Circus website and the Chyan Cultural Centre website.

Spaces are expected to fill quickly, and the trust recommends booking early.
