Over 1,000 Classic Vehicles Roll Into Wadebridge This July

More than 100 Porsches lined up in a single Cornish field. It has never happened here before. And it is only one part of what is heading to Wadebridge this month.

Cornwall’s biggest motoring celebration returns

The Wadebridge Wheels Classic Vehicle Show is back at the Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge on Sunday 19th July. Organised by Wadebridge Rotary, the annual event draws thousands of visitors and ranks among Cornwall’s largest gatherings for lovers of vintage and classic vehicles.

Over 1,000 vehicles are set to fill the showground across the day. The line-up covers restored classic cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles, along with tractors, military vehicles, stationary engines and historic trucks. There is something for every age and every taste in machinery.

A record-breaking Porsche showcase

This year brings a special focus on Porsche. More than 100 examples of the German sports car marque are booked to attend, making it the largest gathering of Porsches ever seen in Cornwall.

Elizabeth Davey from Wadebridge Rotary said: “We have a superb selection of vintage vehicles booked to attend this year’s event. There will be so much to see and do and something for everyone. It’s the perfect day out in Cornwall for those who love all kinds of vehicles.”

Beyond the displays

Visitors can browse trade stands and auto jumble stalls, pick from a range of food and drink outlets, and keep younger visitors entertained throughout the day.

Gates open at 10am. Admission is held at last year’s price of £10 per person, with free entry for children under 12. Parking is free.

Where the money goes

Wadebridge Wheels is run entirely by volunteers from Wadebridge Rotary, backed by a team of helpers. The event is staged to keep costs low so that as much money as possible reaches good causes across Cornwall.

Last year’s show raised £16,000 despite poor weather, with donations shared among 13 organisations including Penhaligon’s Friends, Cornwall MIND and the Merlin Centre.

Elizabeth added: “We’re hoping the 2026 event will be another success. We’re incredibly grateful to all of our exhibitors who generously bring along their treasured vehicles to create what promises to be an incredible display. Every visitor who comes through the gates helps us continue supporting local charities and community organisations, making a real difference in the Wadebridge area and across Cornwall.”
