Truro Classic Car Show returns with a new street for 2026

Vintage motors will line the streets of Truro again this summer, and the display is spreading to a road it has not reached before.

What you’ll see

The line-up covers cars from the early 20th century right through to the 2020s. Brands on show include Morris, Jaguar, Mercedes, Triumph, Porsche, MG and Ford, along with plenty of others. It is a rare chance to see cherished classics displayed on a hard surface right across a city centre.

There will also be a small selection of new cars from local dealers, including Vospers, Hawkins Motor Group, Vertu Honda Truro and P Perryman & Sons Commercial Vehicles.

Away from the vehicles, there will be automobilia and autojumble stalls to browse and live music through the day.

The show is organised and funded by Truro BID and sponsored by Coodes Solicitors. It is free both to attend and to exhibit a vehicle. Macmillan Cancer Support will be fundraising on the day.

We’re pleased to be growing the event, with more vintage vehicles on display across Truro. After the success of last year, we’re delighted that the Park and Ride service will again operate a shuttle service from Tregurra. It promises to be a great day for both car enthusiasts and families, while also helping to increase footfall and benefit many of our local, resident businesses.”

Want to display your vehicle?

Spaces for cars are now on a reserve list. The one exception is vintage motorcycles, which the organisers are still after. If you have one to showcase, email [email protected].

Road closures

To keep the event pedestrian-friendly, city centre road closures will run from 6am to 6pm on Sunday 2 August.

River Street and Lemon Street will close earlier, from 4pm on Saturday 1 August through to 6pm on Sunday 2 August, to create more space for the event. The Saturday evening closures will be staffed by security so businesses and emergency vehicles can still get through.

Getting there

A special Sunday Park and Ride shuttle will run from the Tregurra site near Waitrose to Quay Street in the city centre, then back again. Buses run every 15 minutes and the trip takes around six minutes. The first bus leaves Tregurra at 09:30 and the last bus back from Quay Street leaves at 16:30.

Day tickets, including family day tickets, are available through the Transport for Cornwall App, the legacy First Bus App or from the driver. Multi-day tickets and valid PlusBus tickets are also accepted. Prices are listed on the Truro Park and Ride webpage.

Two things to note. Langarth Park and Ride will be closed on this date. Tregurra is running thanks to a partnership between Truro BID and Cornwall Council.
