Supercars arrive at Perranporth Airfield for families this summer

A Lamborghini Gallardo, a Ferrari California and an Aston Martin DB11 are not the sort of thing you expect to find sitting on a Cornish runway. This August, at Perranporth Airfield, that is exactly where they might be.

A brand-new family supercar driving experience has landed in time for the summer holidays, and it is built for four people to share.

What is the Family of Four Driving Experience Blast?

The Family of Four Driving Experience Blast is a day out designed for four family members, or four friends, who fancy getting behind the wheel of some seriously fast cars. It can be booked through TrackDays.co.uk, and to mark its arrival the price has been cut by 58% to £249 for a limited time.

Each driver gets three miles of driving time. Youngsters from just 10 years old can take part, so this is one summer activity where the kids are not stuck watching from the sidelines.

When can you book at Perranporth?

The cars that lucky participants might get to drive include the Lamborghini Gallardo, the Ferrari California and the Aston Martin DB11. Other supercars in the fleet, waiting for their turn in the starting line-up, include the McLaren 720S, the Porsche 911, the Lotus Evora 400 and the Mercedes AMG GT.

Safety on the circuit

An expert driving instructor is on hand throughout to offer guidance and tips, and there is a safety briefing before anyone heads out onto the circuit.
