A run of quick sales at a new development on the edge of Bude has added to the sense that buyers are still lining up for a place on the north Cornwall coast. Three homes at Cavanna Homes’ Bellevue development changed hands in the space of just 10 days, all secured by the same sales advisor.

Why buyers keep looking to Bude

The sales point to a steady appetite for good-quality homes in one of the county’s most popular coastal towns. Buyers are increasingly after a mix of modern, low-running-cost living and easy reach of the beaches, countryside and the wider stretch of coastline to the north.

Bellevue is a collection of energy-efficient new homes, and the people buying them are a mixed bunch. Some are first-time buyers, some are growing families, and others are relocating or chasing a slower pace of life by the sea.

Hannah Newnes, Sales and Marketing Director at Cavanna Homes, said Bude’s pull is nothing new. “Bude has always been a hugely desirable place to live, and we’re continuing to see that reflected in the level of interest at Bellevue,” she said.

“People are drawn here for so many reasons. There’s the coastline, the sense of community, excellent local amenities and the opportunity to enjoy an outstanding quality of life, all while benefiting from the advantages of a brand-new home.”

Ten days, three sales

The pace of the sales is what stands out. All three were handled by Sales Advisor Rachel Eke, who Hannah Newnes was quick to credit.

“To achieve three sales in just 10 days is a fantastic result and a real credit to Rachel, who has built great relationships with prospective buyers and understands exactly what they’re looking for,” Hannah said. “It’s another sign of the strength of demand we’re seeing for homes in this location.”

Rachel Eke said the past fortnight had been a good one. “It’s been brilliant to help so many people take the next step over the past couple of weeks,” she said. “Every buyer has had their own reason for choosing Bellevue, but they all share a real excitement about becoming part of the community here. It’s incredibly rewarding to help people find a home that genuinely fits their lifestyle.”

Bellevue sits in a spot that pairs coastal living with connections across Cornwall and Devon. Anyone interested in the development is being encouraged to register their interest to get the latest availability and release details. More on the homes is available at the Cavanna Homes website.
