Bricks thrown through two windows at Par Track overnight
Somebody stood outside Par Track shortly before midnight, picked up a brick, and threw it hard enough to punch straight through the glass. Then they did it again.
The sports and fitness venue says two windows were smashed at around 11.30pm after bricks were thrown at the building. Glass ended up scattered across the gym floor, among the kettlebells and rowing machines, with one of the bricks left sitting where it landed.

Classes carrying on as normal
Nobody was hurt in the incident, and Par Track has been clear that it will not be derailing the timetable. Every class and activity is going ahead as usual while the windows are arranged to be repaired as quickly as possible.
Par Track said it was disappointed that something like this had happened at what it describes as a community facility open to everyone, adding that the incident would not be allowed to disrupt what it does. The venue also thanked Holmbush Windows for stepping in to help get the damage fixed, calling the support a big help.
CCTV handed to police
Par Track says it is working closely with the police and has already passed over CCTV footage of the incident, which it believes will help identify those responsible. No one has been named or charged at this stage.
Par Track says it will keep the community updated as the investigation develops. For now, the message from the venue is a simple one: all classes are on as normal.
