Cornwall’s female players and referees asked to have their say
A coach working out how to keep a squad of girls training through growth spurts. A referee taking charge of her first county match. A player quietly managing an injury, or simply trying to get more games in around everything else life asks of her. Cornwall Football Association wants to hear from all of them, and the window for doing so is closing fast.

A survey built around women’s health in football
The Female Athlete Health State of Play Survey 2.0 is being run to help the FA better understand the health experiences and challenges faced by female players and referees, as well as what coaches need to feel better equipped to support female players. The findings will help identify where more education, resources and support are needed, and shape the future of Female Athlete Health across the game.
Who Cornwall FA wants to hear from
The call is open to anyone involved in the female game locally, whether that’s as a player, a referee or a coach. Cornwall FA is encouraging its wider football community to have their say, and asking people to share the survey on with anyone else involved in women’s and girls’ football across the county.
How to take part, and when it closes
The survey is open here, and it closes this Sunday, 6 September, at 11.59pm.
