A partnership between two Truro businesses
HookedOnMedia, the Truro-based digital marketing agency, has partnered with fellow Truro business Callestick Farm to strengthen the ice cream maker’s online presence and help more customers discover the brand.
The SEO campaign will focus on strengthening Callestick Farm’s digital foundations, improving local visibility and creating content designed to help the business stand out in search.
Stewart Roode, HookedOnMedia’s managing director, said the partnership was a chance to show what a focused SEO strategy can do for an established local business looking to grow online.
“Callestick Farm is already a brilliant Cornish success story, with a strong heritage and a fantastic product. But even the best known brands need to stay easy to find online,” Stewart said.
“Our role is to build on that success and make sure Callestick has the online visibility to match the quality and ambition of the business, helping even more people discover their much loved ice cream.”
Three generations of Cornish ice cream
The Parker family has been farming at Callestick for three generations, with the ice cream business established in 1989. Today Callestick Farm produces a range of award winning Cornish ice creams and supplies customers ranging from small beach cafés up to national retailer Marks & Spencer.
For HookedOnMedia, the tie up also underlines the agency’s focus on turning ambitious Cornish businesses’ local reputations into greater visibility online. The two companies sit a few miles apart, one working the fields and the dairy, the other working the search results, and from here their fortunes are, for a while at least, tied together.
