Cornwall Airport Newquay’s new lounge has soundproof pods
There is now somewhere to go at Newquay’s airport that isn’t the departure gate.
Cornwall Airport Newquay has opened the Atlantic Lounge, an executive lounge it says passengers have been asking about for a long time.

What is inside the Atlantic Lounge
The airport describes the lounge as a calm space away from the bustle of the terminal, with a design inspired by the Cornish coast.
Guests get guaranteed seating, complimentary refreshments, fast Wi-Fi and plenty of power points. There is a lounge bar with what the airport calls an exclusive cocktail menu.
And for anyone who needs to work before they fly, there are soundproof pods for taking private calls.
Who can use it, and for how long
The Atlantic Lounge is open to guests aged 12 and over. Access is available for up to two hours.
Spaces are limited, so the airport recommends booking ahead.

Bookings are being taken through the Atlantic Lounge page on the Cornwall Airport Newquay website.
In its announcement, the airport said: “We know you’ve been asking for an executive lounge for a long time.”
