Cornwall Pride Inclusion Conference: what to expect on 16 October
There is a microphone waiting at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall this month, and anyone with an idea about making Cornwall more inclusive is welcome to pick it up.
Cornwall Pride is bringing its Inclusion Conference 2026 to the museum on 16 October, running from 10:30am to 4pm. The charity describes it as “a day of conversation, connection and practical action to help create a more inclusive Cornwall”.

What is on the programme
The organisers are promising “inspiring speakers, honest discussion, interactive workshops, lunch, networking and an open-mic space to share ideas and experiences”.
So the day is built around taking part as much as listening. The open-mic space gives people the chance to speak from their own experience, and the workshops are billed as interactive.
Who the Cornwall Pride conference is for
The invitation is a wide one. The Cornwall Pride Inclusion Conference is open to employers, educators, community organisations and allies, along with anyone who is “simply passionate about equality”.
“There’s a place for you in the conversation,” the charity said.
How to book a place
Places need to be booked in advance through the Cornwall Pride conference booking page.
The conference is “nearly here”, in the charity’s words, and its message to anyone thinking about coming is a short one: “Book your place now.”
