A birdwatching trip at Mevagissey Harbour
Ten nature and wildlife enthusiasts joined the birdwatching outing, which was organised by Rowena Castillo-Nicholls, founder and chair of Connect with Nature with Rowena.
Rob Nicholls was the field trip leader. Between them, the group recorded seventeen species of birds, three species of butterflies and one grey seal.
Sunshine and a sea breeze
The group were lucky with the weather, which stayed sunny and breezy for the outing.
Among the birds caught on camera were a Little Egret, a Black-headed Gull, a Cormorant and a Carrion Crow.
Who went along
Lined up for the group photo on the harbour were Lewis Hall, Vic Booth, Lesley Dent, Hayley Hall, Paul Hughs, Claire Pascoe, Rob Nicholls, Rowena Castillo-Nicholls, Alan Davis and Reggie Pascoe.
The event finished with coffee, tea, biscuits and a chat about what everyone had seen.
