What matters most in Lostwithiel? The town council wants to know

Think about the things that make your town feel like home. Then think about what you would change if somebody finally asked. In Lostwithiel, somebody is asking.

Lostwithiel Town Council has opened a consultation on its draft Neighbourhood Priorities Statement (NPS), and it wants as many people as possible to take part before it closes on Monday 23 November. The campaign runs under a simple slogan: Our Town. Our Future. Your Say.

What the statement covers

The council describes the NPS as a chance for residents to help shape the future of Lostwithiel by sharing what matters most to them.

The scope is wide. It takes in the town’s environment and heritage, along with local services and community facilities. The council says the views it gathers can help identify what matters most to the town, both now and in the future.

Who the council wants to hear from

It is not only aimed at people who live there. The council is asking residents, businesses and everyone who cares about the future of Lostwithiel to get involved, and says it should only take a few minutes.

It is also asking people who have already had their say to encourage others to do the same.

How to take part

• Read the draft statement and find out more on the council’s NPS page.
• Share your priorities through the online consultation form.

The consultation closes on Monday 23 November.

“Every voice matters,” the council said. “Your feedback can help shape the future priorities of our town.”
