Want to Go to Boardmasters? Cornwall Residents Can Now Enter a Ticket Ballot

Published On: 5 February 2025Last Updated: 5 February 2025By

Boardmasters has announced a brand-new opportunity for Cornwall residents to secure tickets for the 2025 festival through a ballot system. In addition, local businesses can now apply for affordable trader pitches at both Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to supporting the local economy.

How the Cornwall Ticket Ballot Works

For the first time, those living in Cornwall will have the chance to apply for day tickets to Boardmasters 2025. The ballot, which runs from Friday 7th February to Sunday 16th February, allows successful applicants to purchase tickets for either Friday 8th, Saturday 9th, or Sunday 10th August 2025.

  • Applications must be made via the Boardmasters website
  • One application per person, email address, and household
  • Each application can request tickets for two people
  • A £27.50 charity donation per ticket is required (all proceeds go to the Boardmasters Foundation) – Otherwise the tickets are in essence FREE!
  • Successful applicants will be contacted from 21st February 2025
  • Tickets are non-transferable and subject to Boardmasters’ Terms & Conditions

This ballot does not replace the existing Local Residents’ Ticket scheme but serves as an additional opportunity for more Cornwall residents to attend the festival.

Trader Opportunities for Local Businesses

Boardmasters is also inviting independent businesses from Cornwall to apply for low-cost trader pitches across both festival locations. With thousands of festival-goers expected to attend, this offers businesses a chance to reach a huge audience while showcasing their products and services.

The festival continues to emphasise its commitment to Cornwall by creating more ways for the local community to be involved. From ticket access for residents to providing affordable platforms for traders, Boardmasters is ensuring the festival remains deeply connected to its home county.
