Suspicious Activity Reported Across Bodmin: Police Appeal for CCTV After Spate of Incidents
Multiple Streets Targeted on Evening of Sunday 24th March
Police in Bodmin are appealing for CCTV and doorbell footage following a series of suspicious incidents reported over the last week, with a notable spike on the evening of Sunday 24th March 2025.
According to a post shared by Bodmin Police, there have been “a number of suspicious incidents / reports where properties have had attempts made to gain entry,” particularly in the Beacon Road, Crabtree Lane, Halgavor Road, Valley View and Kestle Park areas.
Several residents in these neighbourhoods have reported suspicious activity and items stolen, with concerns rising among the local community.
Footage Could Be Key
Officers are asking anyone who may have captured something on CCTV or doorbell cameras that could help identify those responsible to get in touch.

Stay Vigilant
Bodmin Police also urged residents to “please be vigilant and take sensible precautions regarding the security of your property / belongings and report to us anything you believe to be suspicious.”
