The Chapel Restaurant at Bodmin Jail Hotel has launched a new seasonal menu, showcasing the very best of Cornwall’s produce in a dramatic historic setting.

Set within the former chapel of the iconic Bodmin Jail, The Chapel Restaurant has revealed its latest menu, crafted by Executive Head Chef Dane Watkins and his team.

Inspired by Cornwall’s coast, moors and farmland, the dishes reimagine classic favourites with a modern touch. Diners can expect freshly landed seafood, hand-reared meats and artisan cheeses, all designed to reflect the county’s rich culinary heritage.

“Cornwall offers some of the finest produce in the world,” said Dane Watkins. “Our ambition with our upscale brasserie menu is to champion those ingredients in a way that is both tasty and memorable.”

The restaurant forms part of the Bodmin Jail Hotel, one of Cornwall’s most remarkable destinations. Once a notorious prison, the site has been transformed into a luxury hotel that blends dramatic original architecture with modern design.
