Cash Stolen After Daytime Burglary in Bude, Police Appeal
Police are investigating a report of a burglary at a property on St Michael’s Road in Bude and have released images of three men they would like to speak to.
What happened
The incident happened between midday and 1pm on Friday 9th January. An elderly man was approached by individuals offering to carry out garden work. He was asked to inspect the work once it was said to be completed.
When he later returned to his property, he found that a quantity of cash had been stolen.
Police appeal
Officers investigating the burglary would like to identify the three men pictured, as they believe they may be able to assist with their enquiries.
It has also been reported that a white van was in the area at the time. Police are asking anyone who saw a white van or any other work vehicles in the vicinity during that time period to come forward.
