Phil Moir steps up to lead construction at Persimmon Homes Cornwall & West Devon

Persimmon Homes Cornwall & West Devon has appointed Phil Moir as its new Construction Manager, promoting him from his previous role as Contracts Manager.

Phil will now oversee the construction team across the region, which covers sites from Helston to Bideford and Plymouth, including developments in Newquay, Liskeard, Falmouth, and Okehampton.

Industry Experience

Phil joined Persimmon in April last year as Contracts Manager and previously spent five years at Vistry Group, working his way up through roles including Area Build Manager, Area Build Director, and Site Manager. Before that, he was Area Manager at national electrical contractor Clarkson Evans.

Having started his career at 16 as an electrical apprentice, Phil has worked across the South-West of England ever since.

Speaking about his new role, Phil said:

“I am delighted to be taking on this new role for the Cornwall & West Devon business.

“I really enjoy the high standards to which we hold ourselves and the positive feedback we get from the happy customers that are moving into their homes across our developments.

“With so much to be getting on with, I look forward to working closely with senior management at Persimmon to achieve our mission of building high-quality homes for local people across the region.”
