Bodmin Jail Hotel and Cornish Pirates Announce New Partnership
The Bodmin Jail Hotel and Cornish Pirates have announced a new partnership, bringing together one of Cornwall’s most distinctive luxury destinations and a major force in club rugby.
A Collaboration Rooted in Cornwall
The Bodmin Jail Hotel, set within the walls of the 18th century jail, has made its name through a mix of heritage, storytelling and modern design. The hotel highlights Cornish culture, craft and hospitality while the Cornish Pirates continue their work supporting local talent, local businesses and the wider community.
Ross Hancock, Head of Commercial and Communications at Cornish Pirates, said the club was delighted to welcome the hotel into what he called the Cornish Pirates family. Ross said the hotel’s dedication to honouring Cornwall’s past while investing in its future reflects the Pirates’ own values. He described the partnership as being built on shared ambition, shared energy and a shared belief in what Cornish organisations can achieve together.
Shared Excitement for the Season Ahead
Bodmin Jail Hotel said it is thrilled to partner with the Cornish Pirates, describing the Pirates as an iconic team that represents the spirit and determination of Cornwall. The hotel said it celebrates stories, connections and experiences, and that the partnership strengthens its commitment to supporting local teams, organisations and businesses. It added that it looks forward to standing proudly alongside the Pirates this season.
