Callestick Farm Named Official Ice Cream Partner of Cornish Pirates
The Cornish Pirates have confirmed Callestick Farm as their Official Ice Cream in a new two year partnership.
A Longstanding Cornish Name Joins the Team
Callestick Farm is a family run business that has been producing Cornish ice cream for nearly 100 years, spanning five generations. With more than 30 flavours on offer and a parlour based in Truro, it has become a well known stop for many.
As part of the agreement, Callestick Farm joins the club’s network of partners and will feature at The Mennaye Field with the unveiling of “Callestick Corner” at the old scoreboard corner.
Supporters can also look forward to future events where free Callestick Farm ice creams will be handed out.
Club and Farm Share Their Excitement
Head of Commercial and Communications at Cornish Pirates, Ross Hancock, said:
“We’re delighted to formalise a partnership with ourselves and Callestick Farm. Our supporters will have already enjoyed their delicious products late last season on match day and I’m sure at other points. We look forward to more of that. Callestick Farm are one of the duchy’s most recognisable brands and the eye catching new signage in Callestick corner is a fine metaphor for that. We’re really please to kickstart hopefully a long lasting partnership in the next two years.”
Operations Director at Callestick Farm, Ben Parker, added:
“As long term fans of the club we are delighted to partner with the Cornish Pirates. There’s a family connection too with members of the family wearing the Pirates colours over the years. With some of us still season ticket holders we’re really pleased to be officially supporting the club and high level rugby in Cornwall. The signage looks fantastic and we’re thrilled so many Pirates fans are enjoying our products!”
The partnership begins immediately, bringing two well known Cornish names even closer together.
