Cornish Jewellery Brand Welcomes New Owner After 14 Years
Natural Silver, the well-loved Cornish jewellery maker known for its coastal-inspired silver pieces, is entering a new chapter. After 14 years at the helm, founder Niki Green has announced her retirement and is handing over the business to Kia Lucas, a fellow West Cornwall local.
“Time to retire and move on! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all my lovely customers over the last 14 years,” said Niki. “I’m absolutely delighted to be passing the business on to Kia. I know she’s creative and dedicated, and being a local girl, she understands what makes Cornwall, and Natural Silver, so special.”

Inspired by Cornwall’s coastline
Niki’s designs have long drawn inspiration from the natural beauty of Cornwall’s beaches — using shells, leaves and other found objects to create handcrafted jewellery that captures the spirit of the duchy.
Over the years, Natural Silver has become known for its quality materials and distinctive style. Niki’s decision to retire marks the end of an era, but the business is set to continue in trusted hands.
A creative future rooted in tradition
Kia brings her own experience in art, textiles and photography, along with a lifelong connection to the Cornish coast. Having known Niki since childhood, she’s deeply familiar with the values behind the brand.
“It’s an honour to be taking this business on and be able to carry on that tradition in her footsteps,” said Kia. “Niki’s created something truly wonderful, and my focus is on continuing her legacy, keeping the same feel and using the same techniques.”
She also confirmed that the high standard of materials will remain a priority.
“Definitely! Keeping on using top-notch fine and sterling silver is super important for the quality that Natural Silver is all about.”
Where to find Natural Silver
Natural Silver jewellery is still available online at www.naturalsilver.co.uk, and Kia has hinted at potential appearances at local markets and pop-up shops in the future.
“Watch this space for any updates on progress,” she said.
While Niki steps back from the business she built, her influence will live on through Kia’s work – continuing to reflect Cornwall’s natural beauty in every handcrafted piece.
